What a great week to be in Savannah Lakes Village!  The community has certainly enjoyed receiving countless compliments from the golf professionals and visting guests on the course conditions and the overall beauty of our Village.

After off and on showers on Tuesday for the Savannah Lakes Village Shootout, we were rewarded with spectacular weather today for the Lee Builders Putting Contest and the Lakelands Orthopaedic Pro-Am Classic.  Congratulations to Savannah Lakes Village's own Pete Shumway for winning the 2010 Savannah Lakes Village Shootout.  We also congratulate the manager of the local Hooters Store for winning the Lee Builders Putting Contest and the Augusta Linens pro-am team for winning the 2010 Lakelands Orthopaedic Pro-Am Classic.

It is always great to see the excitement and anticipation grow throughout the community as tournament week progresses.  Tomorrow (Thursday, April 29) begins the first round of the Savannah Lakes Village Classic.  We look forward to seeing you at the Monticello Golf Course to cheer on our players and welcome our guests.
