Tara Golf Club

The Tara Golf Club opened in 1993 and was the first of two private golf clubs to be completed in the Savannah Lakes Village community. The Tara course found its inspiration from the famous plantation in Gone With The Wind. The course is lined with stately oaks and pines and features a large shared green for holes #9 and #18 overlooking Lake Thurmond. The course offers a variety of natural and man-made hazards, including 81 sand bunkers.

The recently renovated and recontoured tifeagle greens are surrounded by Zoysia collars and Bermuda fairways. The course plays great and is in wonderful shape. We look forward to your visit to our Tara Golf Club! 

Tara Clubhouse Grill

Guests of the Tara Golf Club are welcome to visit our clubhouse grill. You will be provided with a special pass upon registering in the golf shops on the day of your tee time, which will grant full use of our club's food & beverage services to you and your party.

The Tara Clubhouse Grill is open everyday the club is open and accepts Mastercard and Visa.

Our current hours of operations are:

Lunch Menu served from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Bar Service: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
